FlexDoc Circular
Height adjustable, sustainable document holder with low rear edge.
The FlexDoc Circular is a document holder which is height adjustable in three steps. With a compact surface size of 385mm x 260 mm the FlexDoc Circular is also appropriate for your home-office workspace but can also be used in the office. Work in one line and place this ergonomic document holder right in front of you between your screen and keyboard and position your documents or mobile devices on it. With this document holder you can adapt a healthy posture while reading your documents, and this increases your well-being and productivity at work.
Sustainable material.
The FlexDoc Circular consists of 100 % recycled materials and is therefore an environmentally friendly product. This document holder is made of PET-felt, and this material is recycled PET bottles. Although the PET-felt material appears soft, the FlexDoc Circular is as strong as other materials for example acrylic. The PET-felt is robust, easy to clean, UV stabilized and not easily flammable. The grey mottled material makes the FlexDoc Circular a nice accessory on every desk, for the fixed workplace, the shared-desk or for your home-office.
Ergonomic background
Placing documents on the left, right or even directly in front of the keyboard, leads automatically to twisting and bending the neck, and to focus the eyes more often. This puts extra strain on your neck muscles and eyes. This can easily be avoided by placing a document holder between the screen and the keyboard. In this way, you automatically work in one line, because your documents are lying in the perfect viewing angle right in front of you on the inclined surface of the document holder. Your neck and eyes are relieved, and you immediately ensure a much more comfortable and ergonomic screen workplace (source: Van den Heuvel et al. 2007, p. 380.).
Height adjustable.
The FlexDoc Circular is adjustable in three positions. You can choose the perfect height for your documents in the height steps 80 mm, 100 mm and 120 mm. With this adjustment you will easily achieve your personal optimal height and you adopt an upright body posture.
… from the plastic bottle to our circular line product:
Plastic bottles are collected, shredded, and processed into flakes. Those are processed again into a granulate, and out of this, PET felt sheets are made for our "Circular-Line products". Those products can be returned (when a new circular product has been purchased and we deliver the new product, BakkerElkhuizen will take back the old products to be reused again) to us and recycled. In short, 100% resource-efficient.
Work in one line.
With the FlexDoc Circular you can work in one line by placing this document holder between your monitor and keyboard. This set-up automatically avoids twisting or tilting your neck and upper body down to documents scattered around your desk. By placing your documents, books, notes, or mobile devices, straight in front of you on the slightly inclined surface of the FlexDoc Circular, the viewing distance between monitor, document and keyboard becomes shorter and this ensures more efficiency. The FlexDoc Circular makes sure, that you will adapt an upright posture, improve your comfort, and increase your productivity at work.
Low height at rear edge.
When you are using a huge flatscreen, the screen does not have to be raised that much, because it already take up a large part of the user’s field of view. The height at the rear edge of this document holder is in its lowest position just 80 mm and gives you the possibility, that the FlexDoc Circular fits also underneath a very low positioned monitor or flatscreen. The different inclination angles of the storage surface are ideal for a good and healthy viewing angle down to your documents.
Edge at the front.
The FlexDoc Circular has a well finished edge on the front. This simple detail prevents documents or mobile devices from sliding down. The 385mm x 260 mm storage surface has a load capacity of 5 kg. So, you can also put heavy books and -folders on this ergonomic document holder.
Felt design.
The FlexDoc Circular is Dutch design and exclusively made in the Netherlands. With its PET-felt material it fits into any working environment, e.g., in the office or at home. PET-felt material seems to be simple, but is rather a stylish, unobtrusive enrichment of your desk. The material is stable and robust.
It’s recyclable.
